EDS Society Free Urgent Helpline

  • If you need immediate assistance for an urgent EDS-related issue, try the EDS Society’s Help Line by calling 248-716-8336 and leave a message and an advisor will call you back within 48 hours. More information: https://www.ehlers-danlos.com/eds-helpline/

Pain Management Free Support Groups

  • Daily Support Groups for Pain: If you need some emotional support to get through a painful flare, The U.S. Pain Foundation’s Pain Connection program offers a daily online support group for people with chronic pain called the Daily Chronic Pain Support Group. The group meets Monday through Friday, most Saturdays, and most Sundays from 10–11 AM ET via Zoom. A U.S. Pain-trained support group leader facilitates the group.   • Monthly Mindful Meditation Group for Chronic Pain: If you would like to join the Mindfulness for Chronic Pain monthly support group by registering here that meets on the second Tuesday of each month led by others with EDS pain. Ot watch this meditation video for a quick relaxing session. For medical research from Mayo Clinic on the evidence of how mindfulness practices can be a method to reduce a person’s pain.
